new Xperia phones have horrible glossy black plastic which attracts finger prints & gets dirt stuck in gaps between the screen & around it. They get soiled easy.

EDIT:
It's not just Sony Ericsson though whose high end phones are of plastic build....what about Samsung and LG for example.

just read a review about the arc. Ok phone, but the camera... well it sucks. As usual on SE phones.. The white courtain is back again in this phone (as was on the K810).

Pretty cool, but pity for the camera. And that backlit sensor: is a huuuuge gimmick.
