Very true, rumors will be just that until the real thing arrives. The iPhone 6 rumors I ignore, Apple are damn good at keeping their devices under wrap until the unveiling, I've seen some awesome concepts of it though.
Yep, 24 Feb, thats next Monday, we should see the S5 unveiling, and a few of its competitors will also be unveiled next week.

Woohoo! KitKat has arrived!

...well for us I9500 Exynos Octa users, shouldn't be far off for I9505.
Samsung rolls out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)
SamMobile
Now to decide if I wait a day or two for the OTA or just download the FW file, hmmm...

I simply couldn't wait
Dig the all white icons in the Notification bar:
And multi window multitask got some nice upgrades, including being able to run the same app twice and interact between the windows, loving it!
Still exploring, but so far very happy, the phone is faster and smoother overall. No ART in Developer Options, I'm guessing it would have conflicted with TW, no biggie as they've done a fine job with this update, now to wait for the S5

How much free ram do you get now as compared to 4.3?

I seem to be averaging anywhere between 700mb to 1GB free, with heavy use I seem to be left with around 500mb, it really depends, but so far I've been very reckless and haven't had anything closing in the background even when using multi window multitasking I have plenty RAM to run other apps in the background.
Must say though, RAM has never been an issue for me on the S4, the last time I had a bit of a RAM issue was my S3 in Android4.1.1, thank goodness that version was shortlived.

None that I've noticed other than the Camera UI being faster at launching and between shots. Haven't taken any pic worth uploading as I've been home all day working on an assignment :/

Just noticed Samsung changed how the Lock Screen looks when playing music, instead of the Music widget showing it will show the album art of the album of the song you're playing and the music controls along with your usual shortcuts at the bottom as before, if you swipe to the right you will find the Music Player widget with the tracklist.
Music widget with tracklist and album art in the background:

Cool! I hope HTC will have something like that whenever they release KitKat.

Htc seem to be pushing out KitKat in multiple countries in Europe and networks in the USA, you should have it very soon I'm sure, Hans. I've read nothing but good things about it so far.
