Flipkart lists z2 available from 3rd week of May.Taking pre orders too http://www.flipkart.com/sony-[....]85-1307-4471-a75e-5d18c77f4b4f

Rs50,000 / 834$
"Get the new Michael Jackson 's 'Xscape' via Sony Jive & Xperia Lounge + Free Sony Smartband (SWR-10) worth Rs.5990/- .+ Free Premium Case Worth Rs.2990/- .+ Free 6 months Xperia Accident Damage Cover."

Are the noise cancelling ear phones standard on all packages?

Noise cancellation earphones do not come in the box. You need to purchase them separately ! IMO Sony should have provided them rather than that smartband

Pros

Premium looks and elegant design
Impervious to water
Gorgeous full HD display
Very good camera
Useful software features and loads of tweaking and customisation options
Fast, speedy and zippy. Smooth too
Good battery life

Cons

Blocky design and large size make it a tad unwieldy to hold
A few software features look obnoxious
No exciting, killer feature

Why?
I think it'll be a (almost) Japan-only product... it has a different design. littler screen 5.0'', littler battery 3000mAh... and then it is the same as Z2... it is really similar to the Z and ZL couple... except for the waterproofing...

@coolmen777
thank you a lot
now it has a bit more of credibility!
the only thing I can say is that louder doeen't translate into better all the time...
and in fact the speaker is way better in the Z2...
for the headphones I'll trust him, especially on the volume level being not so high on the Z2... but fortunately the Z2 headphones have noise cancellation... good for samsung if the s5 has great audio

Feels lighter than Z1 but everything the Z1 should have been which i was let down by. Compared to other prices i got £169 discount in Three store for £459 and all Three handsets are now sim free unlocked 😁

@Bonovox
Congrants.
sim free z2 for 459 euros? where are you from and which variant is it? in my country when flagship first launch the price is equivalent to 650 euros. EDIT: ah, you mean uk pound. well, it's still cheaper but the usual price differences i'm familiar with.

It's £ not € . that makes a big difference.

Welcome to the club! Got mine a couple of days ago from three. Great price too. It's network unlocked and bootloader unlocked too.
Been loving the z2 so far, much more than I thought I would.
