Snap820 is for year 2016 devices. No Snap820 for z4, or z4c.

My "source" says bs. According to Qualcomm we won't see SD820 running devices before 2016. They will start sampling to manufacturers in the second half of 2015 if everything goes well. The Z-Comapct line is doing quite well and you can be sure that Sony will have a successor in stores before X-mas and considering that it takes OEMs at least 7-9 month to develop a new handset and the fact that the Z4C will be based on the Z4 rules out the possibility of SD820 being used for Z4C.
Please don't pretend to have any sources if your "source" is just a random georgian forum or something like that. It's absolutely okay to say that you read on some blog/forum about such stuff so that we can "debate" about the possibility of such a scenario. But please don't pretend to have "connections" to Sony.

Always remember that this are rumours.
Some things are true, some are not.
Nothing is certain until the official announcement.

Sorry for off topic but z ultra thread is a bit dead. I'm considering buying z ultra for now and then in q4 sell it and buy either main (or ultra if it has more compact dimensions) because i just found a great deal at amazon - 285 euros including taxes and shipping (!). the only drawback about it for me is that it won't be possible to be carried in my pants pocket, especially not while sitting and even worse then that - it may crack or bend the device. conclusion: i would have to carry it inside a backpack or a bag 24/7 while using it as daily driver. i really appreciate the big display and premium feel. i know i would also have to remove the troublesome shatter film from front and back and apply a tempered glass for both sides once the shatter film get scratched really bad. as of now it is unavailable to try at the stores. any z ultra owner can help me decide whether this device is for me or not?

You can always apply the protective film over sony's stock film so don't worry. I am using it naked and in my pocket for a quite while now. And I wear slim pants still no bending. Guess you should be careful that's all. It is lag free after the updates and I am pretty happy with it. I used to change phones every 4-5 months but I got stuck on Z Ultra and now I am not considering any phones aside from its successor. Only drawback for me is the fingerprints. It drives me insane. I love black but guess white one would be a better choice because of fingerprints.

@xperiazultra
I appreciate your reply. i like much the big display. i'll be willing to go to a tailor and ask him to make my pants pocket bigger if necessary. seriously. those crazy fashion companies make pants and pockets way too slim/skinny and small, you can barely put there a small phone. haven't they heard about phablets? it's the year 2015 god damn. can you please answer the questions i asked on z ultra xda forum? i'll post the link. or in private message:
