If the rumor of Pixel Dual in the sensor is true, it would no longer need AUBE to create the mapping. (Google Pixel Mode) (besides the ToF sensor can do it too)

At this point we already know that it is possible with a good software algorithm. never like with the presence of a monochromatic sensor that allows you to have a very high detail.
High sensitivity in videos:
At this time is the only reason to continue using Aube, BUT only if there is a monochrome sensor. exactly
The Aube chip is used to "merge" the data of the two sensors into a single image and exploit the "different angles of the two sensors" to recreate depth of field. So... if Sony wants the to continue using a multi-camera setup, the implementing of the aube chip is needed. Unless it want to use them differently as the other manufacturers, where each sensor is used individually. (in most cases).

- Fastest possible hybrid AF including new AF technology from Alpha-series (Eye, Face tracking).
- Real manual camera options - up to 30 sec. shutter etc. New interface with manual memory settings.
- Desktop/PC mode with USB connection to monitor (data, power, display signal)
- "Real" water resistance to 10m depth in any kind of water - or some new under water accessory...
- Side mounted FPS. Still think this is best solution.
- Avoid calling things AI...
- XZ4 Compact with slower SOC (SD710), ~5,2" FHD LCD, slim bezels, color sensor + TOF, fast AF, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, mat metal/plastic finish.

Remember xz made up of a new kind of alloy..
And they perfected the rear panel with xz1 but it only lasted a single generation
A 6 inch 21:9 display with the bezels as in xz4
Thickness can go upto a maximum of 9mm
Stereo speakers as in mate 20 x setup
Triple cam with regular telephoto and tof
At least 3500mah battery
Front facing tof for face recognition and side mounted fps
Brighter oled displays with max brightness of 700 nits

Videos on iPad are joke.

Yes, I meant AI to improve AF like they're doing for A6400 and A9.
Canon believes cam marketshare will go down 50% until 2021.
So they need to let Xperia kill RX100 ...

Some of these wish lists are too much for Sony, expect XZ3 type specs with the next set of evolution in terms of hardware. I wish that they fit in my pocket and that when I sit down I don't look excited which is important because I do lots of meetings with all sorts of people.
Also, I sold my Huawei P Smart and have a short term XA2 and my God it is awful coming from the XZ2 Compact to this. It feels 10 years behind in every single aspect so I would be tempted to say make this junk low range or don't even make it. The XA3 would be better off with XZ1 or XZ2 hardware in a cheaper body, that would be so much better than this and probably much cheaper in terms of development. I'll never buy a mid range again, a 2 year old flagship is billion times better.

660 is Q2 2017.
Buks says 52 + 16 + 0.3 is not correct ...
I still think setup is 666 + 379 + tof

Well, it was just a guess but I still think 26 and 52 make more sense as focal length. Plus iphones had the exact same mms for regular and zoom lenses.
The 666 could be a round sensor and if it's 1/1.5 it means 0.666 diagonal. Why would they insist on 6 that much, it's weird.
