@ Rhino, Dotsis has quite a few pdf format books in its library, but imo a better site would be http://powerbooks.1.forumer.com You may need to convert some of their books, although i think they provide the conversion software as well. Registration is a requirement. Have a look at their booklist http://powerbooks.1.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=98

You have confessed a cardinal sin... you must have those nasty Nokia spirits exorcised now:
Away you maifesting Mobile Dark Side demons...phuma fufinyani!!! (sorry for spelling or bad pronounciation, Brixsta. )

LOL, nah boet, whatever floats your boat. We have a joke and a dig, but I'm fairly impartial (within reason) as regards a lot of phone makes, so what if Communicators like the E90 could double up as snazzy sunbeds for dwarves... ? LOL, just kidding.

Anyways, when it comes to platforms, well there's a distinct personal fave for The Wanqing One there.

Uncle Bob's cronies strike again...

'Zimbabwe passes tough new public ‘snoop’ laws

ZIMBABWE’S parliament, heavily dominated by President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu(PF) party, has passed a controversial new law that allows the government to monitor phones, e-mails and the post, reports said yesterday.

The Interception of Communications Bill, which critics say will violate freedom of expression, was passed two days ago. The Bill proposes the setting up of an interception of communications monitoring centre that will be run by people appointed by the government.

Zimbabwe’s communications minister, Christopher Mushowe, has defended the proposed law. He told parliament earlier this week that countries including Britain, the US and South Africa have similar laws.

“These are countries which are regarded as the beacons of democracy,” he said this week.

But critics say the legislation will be used to further persecute government opponents, including the opposition Movement for Democratic Change, rights groups and independent journalists. Under the proposed law the communications minister will be authorised to issue warrants for intercepting communications in cases where there are believed to be threats to national security. Top security officials can apply for the warrants.

Legal experts say High Court judges and not a minister in Mugabe’s cabinet should be responsible for issuing interception warrants. Private Internet service providers will be compelled to install, at their own expense, devices necessary for intercepting e-mails.

The proposed new Bill now has to be referred to the upper house of parliament, the Senate, where Mugabe’s party also enjoys a comfortable majority.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s hard-talking central bank governor, Gideon Gono, has been forced to prove he is still alive after illegal foreign currency dealers threw street parties following rumours he had collapsed.

Black-market dealers in Harare and Bulawayo blew their horns and tossed foreign currency bills into the air in celebration earlier this week, when rumours reached them that Gono had collapsed and died in his office, the Herald daily reported yesterday.

“I’m still in good health. I’m around until the day the Lord calls. So all dealers should be warned. I’m still around,” Gono, who is tipped as a potential successor to Mugabe, told the newspaper.

Gono said rumours of his death, fuelled by the fact the former banker had recently lost a lot of weight, were just a sick joke. He has previously acknowledged that influential people inside Zimbabwe “want me dead”. — Sapa-DPA'

LOL, I'm told from time to time that the word 'warped' needs to be emphasised in the description of my often-over-active imagination.

It's weekend, mense.
Gotta finish off these detailed school reports over the next 2 days, so not exactly a mind-blowing weekend beckons...
Oh well, we're on holiday in 5 weeks' time, so I can't moan too much.

Hope the Bokke have a bril start to the Tri-Nations tomorrow.
