my friends talked about a phone that they named Z2, she also said it was pretty much the same design as Z. Though, she always see them 'naked'. I have no clue what that could be more than an updated Z. She also said togari is huuuuuge.

I feel Eldar might be using Z2 which is updated version of Z(snap dragon 800) and Sony might release a camera oriented smart phone Honami,but here comes the confusion what did Huiyi referred to is it Togari or Honami
If Z2 is update version of z only in processor and camera,so it might not be a camera centric phone what we are discussing
Just confused,I request Kaz to answer it

one million for its home turf and two million world wide?dude Xperia Z sold more than 4million and it was not avaible in US at first and ZL took some of Z sale away.i gotta admit G pro is a formidble phone though.i have seen it first hand and it feels like a good phablet with vivid screen.

its kind of device that appeals to a special people like Xperia Play for gamers.and it usually doesnt sell well.another example would be nokia 808 which was a camera centric phone

All info I had now is relating to the design, which will be as I said before in the past while Sony was thinking not to drop the ZL with the Z and postponed it
It seems that the Honami aka Z2 will be so much like the ZL from the front with the low bezel with some NXT touchs just as I said in January
Carbon-fiber in corners and side with internal metal panels and back large camera at the middle with metal under the remain of the camera and carbon fiber from the top, another thing the front camera will be at the top not as the ZL
Imagine a big circle in the middle that takes approximately all width all the top of this circle is carbon fiber finish as the sports car and all the bottom in metal
At the bottom imagine the shape of the small Mic on the Z but it is tall and around this a tiny NXT line and same from the top
Design :It is all flat
weight : 180 to 200 grams
The camera area contain a deep spaces as the professional camera which makes me question myself if the camera will be able to be used alone or this is just the sensor and everyone should put the lenses before shot
A tiny transparent glass as the xperia S make this shape around the speakers
About the speakers it's dual speakers between the front and the rear
-So far as what I saw no, maybe what I been showed another thing, but I have been identified that this is the Z2
-It has the same Z width and the same ZL height, and the depth is between X10 and XS
-The volume is below
Just the speakers make them as every other speaker not red coloured
-the camera circle make it circle it's around external looks some how aluminum with the spaces where the lenses will enter as the usual professional camera
-make the NXT lines around the speakers more transparen

But this is what I saw
About the flash you will find two flash lights at the top right, on the right of the top speaker
The front on the other hand as if you see the ZL upside down the front camera is on the top left corner
If you see it from front as if you are seeing the XPERIA - ZL with all every details except 2 differences
-The bottom flash light is no longer exist
-The front camera is mover from the bottom right to the top left
The speakers are front and rear, top and bottom and yes there is not light as ZL but there are a transparent line that can able to light
I see no cover

This makes there is Xperia Z2 (updated version of z to compete with itself),Honami(camera oriented phone)to compete with nokia pureview/808,xperia ray 3(compete with iphone),togari (compete with Samsung note 3 phablet) and the last CN3(compete with cheap chine se phones and Samsung Grand /Micromax phones.

did everyone forgot about the Z coming to T-Mobile in US? I'm not sure if this Z is going to be the same Z from few months back with all those flaws. If this Z is comnig out after ZR/ZL/A...etc, then I would imagine there has to be some improvement to this Z.
