@ da brixsta,
LOL, I guess it's amplified by the fact that the Brits don't have too many world-leading sporting heroes to celebrate about and F1 enjoys healthy media exposure with its huge international fanbase.
Seeing a relatively easy-going yet utterly professional young role model for many youngsters here is very refreshing to say the least, compared to the usual norm of oft-'prima donna' footballing stars.

About the sims, I can only think it'd be to target UK customers who perhaps are planning to visit SA and don't want to pay the extortionate overseas roaming rates.
They would more than likely be oblivious as to how cheap they are in places like Pick n' Pay, Clicks etc., and like the other dude we helped some time back with a Vodacom sim, they then know the cellphone number to give to colleagues and family before they jet off.
I'm just guessing here, as I can't see any other reason/s. He's got 10 for sale; I'm gonna watch to see how quickly they sell...

Field Marshal President Doctor Idi (-ot) Amin Dada. I really, really wanna see The Last King of Scotland; I enjoy my history and I hope the film doesn't divert too much from what actually happened in Uganda during his reign. Did the movie feature that famous raid by the Israeli special forces?
Let me know your verdict of the film.
I'm sorry I never saw it on the big screen, but it's on the to-watch list for later this week, once I've got most of my current work behind me.

Just stopped the DVD about 35 minutes from the end because the torture scenes got too gruesome.
Will finish it off tomorrow and give a verdict.

I'd also love to get your take on the movie, Brix. I was eyeing it at the video shop yesterday, but decided to watch Hard Luck instead. I should've chosen something else...

I've got mixed feeling after watching the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean...the movie was unnecessarily long- close to three hours. What I did enjoy though was seeing Hakim Kae Kazim in the movie...if you don't know who I'm talking about its the guy from the Fresca advert, remember him? Larry, the Fresca guy?
And to think that often I'd see him in Cape Town, either pushing a pram or with his wife...last time I checked, he lived in Bo Kaap.

Here a maths lesson for you Wanga.Stick Nokia 6680 into PC and use as a modem.Connect P990i via USB cable to PC.Log on to SE Update Service at 19.12pm via SE Update Centre.Successfully update your P990i to the latest firmware and disconnect at 19.50pm.Get your cell-phone bill for that month and your data usage comes up to a whopping R129.48 for between 19.12pm and 19.50pm on the 8th May.Can you believe that dude.Thats how much it cost me to upgrade my firmware using my 6680 as a modem.Absolutely insaaane man.
