Excellent work e_erzan, I'm sad to sya I do not have a W800i to test out your cam driver personally. But it looks good, maybe the best to date I suppose....cant conclude without seeing more pics, To remove the noise maybe you should edit the Nightmode settings to make it a bit faster or adjust the normal settings which are under night mode to make it a bit slower allowing in more light. I think you should make it a little bit slower will solve the problem....but dont make it too slow.
Regads,

where had you been mate? i was waiting for your ultimate Camdriver.. as promised by you

wonder was that happening?
No W800 to test on....lol. I'm using an M600i at the moment. Seems like you're planning to shift to the P990

. Cool phone. Anywyas back to topic I'm anxiously awating my uni results which dictate wheather or not I go to my final year....so I've been a little pre occupied. Will release the ultimate driver as promised by next week ie after I get my results but e_erzan has done quite a fine job I must say.

Akshay

Any checked out my test shots with your driver
5.6a w/o spot
I found a few problems though: sometimes the camera doesn't focus in and the focus square in the center never goes green, thus making me unable to take a photo, also after I took a photo on a couple occations the camera mode shutdown and went back to standby :S
The other thing was that when there isn't enough light when taking your photo, the photo tends to blur, for example if your taking a photo when it's sunny but your in the shade when taking the picture. Apart from that I'm happy with the results.. I was looking at them from my Panasonic 50" Plasma and the clarity and vibrancy of the pictures are realistic enough as if it were done by a professional SLR camera

Hey, I was messing about the v5.6a camdriver and found out this quite nice and usual effect when taking sky photos.
Night:
On | WhiteBalance:
Auto
Night:
On | WhiteBalance:
Incandescent

Yes I confirm this problem. Sometimes closing and reopening the lens cover is enough, sometimes I found that playing a few secs of an mp3 solves the problem.
As regards 5.6a I tested it and I think it tends to overexpose pics a little bit when in bright sunny light.
Look at the photo of the swing on a tree: the darker areas of the tree are visible but the seat is overexposed.
I have got the feeling that a more balanced exposition (i.e. a little darker pics like 9.91) can catch more detail so you can have better results by postprocessing pics with PhotoShop.
Macro of 5.6a is very good.

Just for the record, the video quality on 5.6a "no spot" is great.
And the macro is just perfect.
I've tested it around and later I'll post some photos here.
The only thing I would change would be the nightmode. I'd use the 10.01 nightmode configs.
If I knew how to make it, of course. Lol.
Nevertheless, congratulations you guys. I've been testing your (E_erzan's, Aksd's and Ady's) drivers for some time now, and I can feel the improvements.
Keep up the good work.
See ya.

Click here to view my files, including VKP Patches, Slim Font tweaks, menu tweaks, display and camdrivers (updated including the famous 5.6/a version lol
