since there a discussion for cables came about, i have a T39. Is the DRS10 (bought at SEMICON) compatible with it. What about the T68, can the DRS10 be used for it.
Since i got the T39 last December, i have been trying to get a drs11 as per the specs on the phone. Is there one available here na?

@JWBlue
yup, i get it to the "red" level first, then i plug in the charger. the fun thing is i enjoy winmx (file-sharing) and download vids... now i'm downloading this video from Top Gear (F1 vs. F50) which is 30MB.

@Handsome Puppy re: roaming and globe gprs
GPRS is network dependent. And even if the roaming partner of GLOBE offers GPRS, i would hazard to guess the roaming charges would be: exorbitant
@ksroy re:Globe GPRS charges
Free "until futher notice." Quoted from Globe's CS, and my contact from within

. Strictly speaking, the "service" is not really being offered yet as it is still in "testing" phase.
@hornet26
first of all, WELCOME TO ESATO!
The best place to look for the answer for your question is the at the Technical forum where connectivity issues are posted and answered (hopefully

) I think that question had been answered before, and it's a yes. Just check it out from there. Ok?
@racoonice re:missing the EB (and us, the girls)
tama ang suggestion ni dan, ask the girls to join the EB. mababait naman kami eh. Haven't you seen our pictures?
too bad you can't make it, as penalty sagot mo ang first 10 cups of coffee on EB v4, at ikaw din ang magiging coordinator.

(This doesn't seem to be a "bad" penalty for those who promised to join and won't be able to make it - for whatever reason. Thanks to garyfab for starting the "tradition".

hehehehhe)
@dan47
okay, thanks for acceeding to cover for me. Hope you can drop by ying's place before the EB, just in case he doesn't make the great escape on Saturday.

>GOwin - Granted the GPRS service is free for now, during the time one is connected to Globe's GPRS, is he/she paying the price of a phone call?

Pardon my ignorance

@ksroy
It's free, libre, walang bayad, way bayad. hehehe.

So let's enjoy it while it lasts
It's not considered as a voice call, but a data service using a different channel unlike the old CSD/HSCSD.

>GOwin -- Cool!

I always thought that the service was free but logging on would entail paying the local call charge. Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I'll be logging on using my phone more often. I'm usually bored in the evenings as I'm stuck in a sandwich store I own (anyone work in RCBC Plaza in Makati?) till about 11pm.
Many thanks again!
