I'm on R1A and my phone works just fine.

I really can't understand those people that want to change away from this if they are not having any problems with it?

When did you get your handset? The early handsets crashed loads and so we had to flash our phones

Mine is a week 19 and like I said, I know I'm one of the lucky ones, but there are plenty of us.

If my phone had been crashing then I'd have gone down the same route as everyone else on here but my point was to try and deter those people who want the latest version even when they don't have a problem with R1A.

As I stated in another thread the camera has not worked since going to either R1J/R1L

Has anyone else got this exact problem, what should be in "Software Info" ??

Cameraversion 4.4 should be under info
If its not there somehow the firmwareupgarde did not finish properly and you lost the camerasoftware part, which is the reason why the camera nolonger works.

This has happened to others, using SEUS.
It can possibly happen because of a sudden loss of connection in the usb connection during the update, propably caused by an instable USB configuration in the PC, which is something quite common.

Some has managed to get the camerapart back after doing several updates on SEUS, but not all.

I'm not convinced its a problem with the camera firmware getting lost as my camera does actually work occasionally but the firmware details are not displayed, also reflashing does not help (tried both davinci and SEUS).

Dunno mate - R1J didnt work on O2 - I am on R1L and it is fine.

I have seen some threads saying restart phone a couple of times - I guess you have checked the settings.

Post your settings here an I will compare what I have.

Cheers

Somewhere I picked up that the disappearance of the camera is because of a loose wire. If this is the case this can explain why the camera come'n'go.

When I first got my K750i the buttons on the side (Play/Pause and +/-) didn't always work, they seem to be fine now. I put it down to a loose connection somewhere. I was going to get SE to take a look at it but there doesn;t seem much point now as it's been working no problems for a while now.
