Good morning, Jojo.
I haven't followed the K850i thread too much lately, purely because I've been really busy with all the work I have and the fact that the K850i isn't on top of my mobile phone wishlist right now.
I guess you're more knowledgable about it than what I currently am, mate.

It's good to see that it's not much bigger than the K750i. I quite like the look of it, although I'm starting to gravitate towards the thinner handsets now... the T650i looks really good, IMO.

Hopefully I'll be the proud owner of a P1i or W960i before the end of the year.

Me and my buddy Handsome sitting at my aunts place with Windhoeks(only that in the fridge) and watching the second pirates..

How did Sundowns vs. Barcelona go tonight>? Anyone know?

The article about cell c's special...
http://mybroadband.co.za/news/Cellular/344.html

"This innovation in basic voice and data is in response to our customers needs,” says Zeona Motshabi, Chief Corporate Officer at Cell C."

So, what do they mean by "Data'?

So, what do you guys think Vodascum and MTN's response will be?

@ama - Yeah . . .me KNOWLEDGEABLE about celfone-gadgetries I don't even know the firmware version of the fones I am using . . . I am just keen more on how the fone's cam-works and if it can really make wonders (comparable to digicams . . .)

Yup, I hope you'll get either of the two . . . but given a choice, me will go for the P1i my friend . . .

What's keepin' mrs. ama - busy . . . tonight

@ Francois,
Barcelona won 2-1.
Not sure if the other 2 networks will jump straight in to match Cell C's deal... perhaps they see Cell C as the 'sick man of SA cellphone networks' (to use a historical analogy) at the moment and therefore won't feel pressurised to do so, while Cell C does what it can to get more customers.

Hope I'm wrong though and that they do pull a rabbit or two out the hat.

@ Jojo,
LOL, she's fallen asleep on the couch while watching a DVD, while I finish the last statements etc on all the reports. I'll wake her up shortly with a cup of her favourite tea.

@ jojo...am I detecting an obsession with mommy here? hehe!:-P

The first positive article about our minister of Communications:
http://mybroadband.co.za/news/Telecoms/346.html

For once, if everything that has started happening they say has, I must say, she is finally doing her job, and South Africa will only benefit from it...more jobs, more businesses, and better wealth around.

This week in Time magazine the main feature is "How the World eats. Well worth a look at. They have pictures depicting the monthly or weekly foods a family eats from USA, Mexico, Europe, Asia and an African country. European food expenditure was the highest weighing in at $500 a week, the African country was the lowest, at under $2 a week. It was a shocking view of the reality of the situation, but I am glad that people are being made aware of it. But it always gets me: what can I do?

@ Jojo, yeah I know mate, hence my remark and accompanying 'smiley' .

Yup, it's nearly time to head off to NeverNeverLand and catch some .
It's after midnight now and it was a bit of a struggle to get through Wednesday without sufficient sleep...
Aywayz, I need to finish off one more section on the last report and then I'm shutting down here.

Have a good day. G'night.
