So i have been testing the new opera. This is a vast improvement since the previous version. Every time a new version comes out i am the first to test it, and the first to go back to my Russian hacked version, just because it runs properly, and the latest opera would always give me issues, the once all my apps gave me issues till opera got removed.
Now this new version is great, with a few issues here and there. I like the page overview and that you can zoom in on a spot. Smart of them to make all readable text paragraphs the size of screen when zoomed in. Great for reading. Also, i run mine with images turned off, and the size a page is 1-3 kb's. And there is also settings to change it to work like the old opera.

I play an online game called travian, and on previous opera all the important buttons and screens did not render. My default browser would, but not as they should be, and the clickable areas would not be over the images. Opera works correctly.
My only gripe at the moment is that Travian blanks out every now and again, way too often. Hope the full release sorts this out.

And oh, there is no way i would have been able to write this much text in the old versions. This one says 2475 characters...1.5 times more than the old ones.

LOL, or if you can get your mitts on some depleted uranium or tungsten-carbide armour-piercing rounds.
Now where's Kryptik... I'm sure he could suggest some alternative ballistics/ordnance/strategies that could hinder the Dark Knight's progress...

Looks like I just missed you last night, Jojo. Hope you're having a good Friday, mate.

@ Doc,
Good to see you around these parts again. About that Aishwarya Rai pic in the Indian thread... eek, I hope she's not 'letting herself go' now that she's tied the knot..

@ HOBBS,
LOL, I'd love to, but the notable saving one makes if one is prepared to wait a month or two after market release is certainly worthwhile, IMHO...even if I'm 'champing at the bit' to get me grubby mitts on my new preciousss..

I run my opera mini at full image quality on my m600, simply because the work pays for my 2 GIG 3G bundle. And i hardly even use 1.5gig at work, gives me 500meg free to use on phone....

The new opera mini does work wonders tho, and its faster than the old one.....

I'm in two minds about the game tommorow, hope the Boks pull one over the Old Enemy.

Back to phone matters, now my phone has stopped vibrating...which means that in a noisy street I can't "hear" the phone when its in my pocket. Definitely have to take it to Vodacare tomorrow.
