May as well tell the wind to stop blowing, it will continue until there's a complete ban on firearms. Currently there isn't enough support for this to happen, i.e. it's being used as a political football. Sometimes i wonder whether we'll ever succeed in having a gun-free society at all. Singapore is such a good example of where it's working very well. Has plenty to do with their strict laws though...

@da wanqsta: What do I think of Henry's move? Well since the departure of Patrick Vieira, the Gunners have not been the same. They're clearly in need of an aggressive midfielder in the mould of Keane or Gattuso. The current lot are creative/skillful but when it gets ugly out there few see someone like Fabgregas willing to take on the challenge.
@All: Have you guys had any trouble calling Cell C numbers? I tried this morning and all I got was a "network busy" tone. But I got through on my second attempt.

@brix: yeah, it was down for a while. Its back up now and working ok. I'd rather try 5 times to get through to my girlfriend then pay 60rand plus to talk for an hour. For me, mxit has become obsolete on weekends.

@ da brixsta,
True, Vieira's presence in midfield is missed. I think the fact that his work rate and approach was so effective in the midfield that it was almost inevitable that he had so many flaired incidents with some of the Premiership's 'prima donnas'... I mean can you imagine him playing some games in the current Premiership against the 'pseudo-fragile' Cristiano Ronaldo, for example?

I think the void left by Henry is going to be almost as obvious; it's going to also put that much more pressure on the likes of Fabregas et al.
I don't think there's a Gooner out there that would want to see the back of Henry; I'm surprised at his move as he has become so synonomous with Arsenal and the support he has enjoyed has been nothing short of phenomenal. Could it just be the very big money..? Surely not...Fresh challenge maybe? It's not like Barcelona hasn't already got a star-studded line-up. He has also stated that it was solely his decision...
I guess we'll never know all the motivating factors.

It'll be interesting to see what Arsene Wenger does now, as regards new signings and strategies...
The last thing they need now is another hugely indifferent season.

@da wanqsta: I also think Arsenal's policy of not giving long-term contracts to those over 30 influenced him. It should be said that Henry is an exceptional player. Heard Saviola might be coming over to the Emirates.

Deja vu almost; there was rumours galore about the Argentinian striker moving to Arsenal about the same time last year; maybe things will pan out differently within this transfer window.
Whoever they sign, they'll have pretty huge shoes to fill.

Reyes's manager is also in contact with no less than 3 Spanish clubs at the moment too...

So first blood to us against The All Blacks. Gonna be tense...

The All Blacks are running them off the park..seems like their backs stepped on a livewire and can't stop running. I'm impressed, pity the Boks.

Defeat snatched from the very jaws of victory yet again... Very spirited game though.
