What a comeback in the last quarter of the match. Carkitter here on esato must be thrilled.
Yeah, still lots of errors being made, fortunately (to an extent) not just from SA. Wannenburg didn't do himself any favours either.
That man Rokocoko again.. Credit where credit is due, and let's hope the Boks can come back even stronger from this.

Right now I'm not too emotional about the rugby but I'd be pissed of as hell if I was amongst the thousands in the stands.

You're right, I am.
The Springboks started well and were tough opponents as usual disrupting our lineout and taking advantage of opportuities which we didn't do. 14 handling errors to your 1

I can't understand why Kevin Mealamu isn't the starting #2 for the AB's; he's just superb, as is Rokocoko. Bring on the wannabee's, I mean the Wallabies.

Hi CK. Welcome to the SA thread. :-) Yeah, if we have to lose I'd rather SA goes down to the All Blacks than The Convicts... ;-) A Kiwi mate that works with shares your opinion about the AB no.2. What's the public reaction there regarding the huge exodus of AB players to European clubs? I see even Rico Gear signed up recently.

Lol @ carkitter, yeah excellent game. With all the running at the death, I can't see how the Wallabies are going stop a rampant AB backline next weekend.

@amawanga
About the player exodus? Hey we're not thrilled about it but we do understand it and have kind of come to expect it. I mean, for a small country like ours to have such as vast rugby infrastructure, it's not unusal to create many high quality players who can't reach the top team. Aus has the same problem with cricket I'm sure. We seem to supply a great number of the America's cup yacht crew members too.
Besides, It's part of Kiwi culture to gain an education/skill and travel overseas. There are rugby brokers constantly looking for local rep players for European clubs especially locks and first five-eighths.

Fair enough. SA also isn't immune to having players join northern hemisphere sporting foreign legions.We have numerous players playing abroad too; Van Niekerk signed about the same time as what Gear did,for example. There are some NZ national team cricketers playing in the UK too,(ie. in the 'off-season' or when there aren't national team duties/tours) Scott Styris immediately comes to mind,as are many SA cricketers under the Kolpak scheme. It just seems proportionately far more players doing so at the moment, hence my fairly light-hearted, loose use of the term 'exodus'.

@wanqsta: Had a busy Saturday, so couldn't go to Vodacare but I've decided to wait until I get my T39m. Coz I know it will take some time for them to fix my phone.
