nice...am really really going to force myself to hold back my purchase of the n95 8gb..trying really hard....thanks icaka, PK, sealover and all those who contributed. am feeling more enthusiastic for my final paper which is in less than 12 hours..

That P5 looks more like W915..not even W920
It may have been a proto.The design(testing the flips) and the hardware(changing processor)etc are not yet finalized.Only the next Uiq looks final.Maybe thats why Pk's phone was pulled off.I bet this won't be the final production model.
Put this phone next to W910(all flips closed) and ask a layman whats difference?
SE P Series has some unique features that stands out...from other phones..like the flip,the rich silver look.Opening the flip looks more business a la opening a briefcase.P series is also more of a show off phone..P5 looks 90% like W910 with flips closed.
I feel next P series will come after nokia announces their ts phone.SE is in no hurry for competing iphone.they want to see iphone vs nokia.IMO,P5 will have a bigger screen,different design,better hardware,more features and uiq will be no different to what PK has tested.
SE had to show P990 a year before production because UIQ3 was new and wanted developers to make applications for it.P5 also uses UIQ3 varient coz SE is still pushing developers to make applications for uiq3.I think SE will release this phone close to production.
Just some of my thoughts.

I dont think we should be comparing the SE P5i to the Nokia N95 because by the looks of it the N95 successor might be out by the time the P5i is released.

Indeed it should not..just waiting the announcement patiently....its good to see more updates cropping up slowly..and now tht they're putting a real good processor..i am sure the phones gonna have kick-ass features...

dont underestand why SE postpone P5...
If really matter is hardware they can announce and release P5 with this hardware and then after 6-8 months change this hardware with more powerful hardware...
I and very much ppl prefer to buy P5 with this hardware instead waiting for more powerful hardware for around 8 months...
it is simple// Nokia do that and every 6 months has new flagship with better feauters

Something to consider about Nokia's touch device...According to rumor there will only be one device in 2007 and it will not be in the Nseries, which means its features will be considerably less than P5. A Nokia touch device with comparable features may not be out until 2009.

(as a lot of people did with the PRADA and Viewty and the IPHONE )
the delay will hurt the sales from the view that this Phone will be competing with offers such as Apple's and LG's and Nokia's products that will have +/- the same specs with pros and cons to everyone yet they will be cheaper solutions
that what really scares me
