@ da brixsta,
If you can get the T39m's firmware updated to R4A008...:

Hope these help.

The last run of T39m's (02w13) finally had the little gems working like they were initially intended to.

Can't remember the other site that mentioned fixing any aerial coil solder gremlins; mighta been Howard Forums but I'm still at work and the school filter is blocking that site...

So this is apparently the first official pic of the new, very angular Nokia 7900 fashion phone. (see axxxr's thread.)

Reminds me of doing isometric and oblique woodwork drawings, or geometry...oh hell Wanqa; you've been too long at school today..time to go home... :

Not the most ideal conditions, ie. low-lit, evening indoor pic, but the N73 managed to pick up a fair amount of detail on one of my fave paintings/prints by my fave artist, Rodney Matthews ( www.rodneymatthews.com ):

@da wanqsta: I'm on my phone right now but would something like SEUS be of any use when it comes to the T39m. I took it to the Waterfront and slipped in an MTN sim and it picked up a network signal. Bought an MTN sim and the phone started with it's tricks again, no network signal.

@ da brixsta,
I'm not sure...
I went onto the SEUS site for central and southern Africa and there's only phones listed there, going back to the T610 etc.

I found software downloadable stuff for the T39m on the site, but couldn't find firmware updating for it...

It doesn't appear so...

You might have to take it somewhere in CT (they'll probably send it to that dodgy place in Jozi who in turn may not be too keen to touch it...) Are there no reputable repair shops closeby?

Or my in-laws fly on Thursday... I could always take it to the local, official repair shop here and see if I can bend their arm to sort it out. They don't charge for firmware upgrades here, but I don't know if that'll be applicable as to what the T39m requires.

That's about the best that I can suggest at the moment, mhlekazi.

Magandang Umaga, Jojo!

Yup, I also thought the Nokia 7900 would perhaps appeal to the architect crowd.

The painting is of a very Gothic-looking train. Rodney Matthews's attention to fine detail is amazing.
He has done paintings for some rock band CD and LP covers, calendars, fantasy and sci-fi prints, books, including newer-printed versions of JRR Tolkien's novels, even a TV series. Exceptionally talented and original artist.

Hope you have a great Tuesday too, mate.

@ama - Buenas Noches !

When I saw the contour on the Nokia fone, it instantly reminded me of the very famous bank-building in HK (Citibank ) . . . very VISIBLE when your plane is about to make a touch-down on the runway . .

Nice painting . . . is that your collection

Yeah, I know the tall building that you are referring to, with those diagonal beams running up it. Not sure if it's Citibank's HK building, though.

The print is ours. I doubt I'll get any more for now than my fave 3 of his that we currently have; I don't want to start collecting anything for the sake of it, as collections quickly turn into expensive obsessions.
We do have other paintings around the house, but they're somewhat more er...conventional still life pics.
