LOL, Sotheby's indeed.

Class is fine, they're a great bunch. I get along well with them. We're very fortunate to not have too many 'difficult' pupils within the school, yet if you travel a few miles down the road to one or two other schools within the area it's a little more er...'challenging' to teach at these. I've been at the school since 2001 and don't see myself leaving there anytime soon...

Well Jojo, its after midnight again. Time I got some shut-eye. Take care, mate.
G'night.

@ama - Oh OK . . . just one more query here mate . . . ya think it's MORE difficult to TEACH students who lives in the RURAL areas than those in the URBAN ones same as with those who studies in a PUBLIC school or a PRIVATE one

Good Night dude !

So i spent my evening trying to sort out my bluetooth dongle. What a mission, reason being, stupid software that comes with the dongle. I got my internet working with much toil, and basics as using my phone as a remote for media player or vlc player was pretty straight forward. But the crux of the situation is that i need to try to get past the bluetooth software. Without it bluetooth wont install. But once again, ol mysh, the guy who programmed that phone video converter came through. I am just glad i saved all his documents as it seems that he has disappeared off the face of the planet, does not even respond to emails. Last i heard from him sony ericsson hired him to write a couple of documents concerning video and phone and such. But in these documents there is a link to some software that forces bluetooth to work straight forward without all the hassles of always having to confirm the device every time. I will when bandwidth allow see if i can get this downloaded. It is a pretty hefty download. But if mysh says it works, it works.

My big conclusion is, bluetooth is a crap standard. It is not basic enough if you want it to work right, and without annoying issues. Thank goodness for the wifi standard.

One thing I miss on my Nokia is the ability to control my computer's media player via bluetooth.

Hey Siosal, welcome back. Did you read my post? I was referring to my N70 which doesn't have this feature built-in. Mario might come through with evidence to the contrary.

I only managed to read the last post. Sorry. I have had times in the past where I've had to go 5 pages back to find the beggining of the conversation.

And thanks. Nice to see your text again.

Hi Siosal! Good to see you around these parts again.

Hope your new job and new everything are going well.

@ Jojo,
A very generalised statement this, but usually the inner-city schools have more difficult kids to teach.

@Brix Indeed your N70 can control the winamp media player thru bluetooth. Because the limited bluetooth range I don't find the 'gimmick' usefull but I'll gladly email the application to you when I get back home in exactly 13 days. I am in Jhb now, taking part in the SA table tennis champion ships as part of the police team. Alternatively you can get the program from Prodigits. Sometimes I wonder why you are still using a N70 - if I remember right your 'signature' use to say something like "N70 but should be back to SE before the years end" and that was like this time last year :-/
