If you tell us what the article is supposed to fix it might be possible to find it elsewhere without using macfixit. Post a link to the supposed article.

Thanks a lot, but fortunately I didn't need it!
Anyway, this is it:
http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=2007110110052021
It's about slow app launches and high fan activity after upgrading to Leopard.

I am trying to do some command line networking, but when I type ssh
root@"devices ip address" it comes up with the error:
lucas-computer:~ LukeB$ ssh
root@10.0.1.6
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
fd:07:34:3b:d1:76:1e:c2:e7:95:14:d3:b2:23:47:7f.
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /Users/LukeB/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.
Offending key in /Users/LukeB/.ssh/known_hosts:4
RSA host key for 10.0.1.6 has changed and you have requested strict checking.
Host key verification failed.
I know for a fact nobody is "doing anything nasty" so am not worried, but when I go to add the key to known hosts I type: /Users/LukeB/.ssh/known_hosts
into terminal and receive the error:
lucas-computer:~ LukeB$ /Users/LukeB/.ssh/known_hosts
-bash: /Users/LukeB/.ssh/known_hosts: Permission denied
Why is this as I am a system admin?
Can anybody tell me very simply how to add the correct host key to known hosts?
Thanks

Type the following
rm /Users/your.os.x.user/.ssh/known_hosts
THEN HIT RETURN
YOU WILL GET A MESSAGE SAYING RSA HOST KEY FOR 192.168...HAS CHANGED AND YOU HAVE REQUESTED STRICT CHECKING.
LOCALHOST:- YOURNAME$ RM /USERS ETC......
KNOW TYPE IN
ssh -l root your.iPhone's.ip.address
If you got that previous remote host error, Terminal will tell you the RSA key fingerprint has changed, and would you like to change it? Type
YES
HIT RETURN
it will ask you are you sure you want to continue connecting type YES/NO
YES
YOU WILL THEN BE ASKED FOR YOUR PASSWORD (if this is for your iphone then its dottie if you havent changed it)
you should know see # and you ready to SSH

don't want to teach you to suck eggs, but the dock is mostly drag and drop, drag stiff onto it to keep it there, drag off to remove it from dock and drag things left and right to organise them!

Anybody managed to use Front Row 1.3.1 on Leopard successfully? I don't like this new 2.0 one, so I've decided to get rid of it and install the old one. Everything is fine except one thing. If I watch a video or a movie, I can't close Front Row. I have this "A problem has occured" message and I have to press enter to quit. It would be nice if I could fix this, cause so many important features missing from 2.0...
