Anyone noticed in the new R1DA firmware the Media menu has had some of its fancy effects removed?

Most noticable is when you view pictures. In the old firmware the pictures flew in and flew out when you selected them, now they just display. Looks like SE overestimated what the hardware in the phone was capable of!

Just run some benchmarks on the R1DA038 firmware on O2, here are the results:

JBenchmarkHD Gaming Score: 152
JBenchmark1: 5802
JBenchmark2: 950
JBenchmark3D HQ: 441
JBenchmark3D LQ: 430

Some huge improvements on the 3D side of things!!

That's extreme

Guys, Do anyone feel any difference in bassline when MEGA BASS is acivated on your K850i? I don't feel any difference like the K750I does.

Quick reply needed so i can decide whether to return my handset before my waranty expires.

thanks.

Quite a difference, yes, but depends on what song you're playing. Oh, and I think has modified the MegaBass feature since K750, so it's not unusual that it doesn't sound the same.

I really can't understand what great brains in SE thought of putting a glass protection cover over the actual lens cover. The job of the cover is supposed to be protecting from dust, scratches and lens damage. Having a glass cover over the cover is like disabling the actuall cover! If the glass cover gets scratched or broken, it's like having no cover at all!! And far from all these, it isn't even dustproof!!
I much-much prefer the k810. The best SE phone so ever!
Why do they always release their phones with crap f/w? What's the hurry? Why do we have to wait for a new hopefuly bugless f/w? And what about all those people who don't know anything at all about updating etc? Are they doomed to have a faulty phone?

Um.. have you gone backwards in firmware... they didn't used to fly on mine.. now they do!!

It doesn't totally crash it to get out of x-pict story now either, although not graceful - but who on earth would use this feature apart from to make people laugh at it's lameness!
