can someone please tell me which mobile networks are available in kuala lumpur, malaysia & which 1 has the best services & facilities???btw, gsm networks only.

Maxis might be a good GSM provider in KL region.

some malaysian like me dislike Celcom as during the analogue days a lot of Celcom user suffer from their poor quality...I donno how much they improve...the bad image of network failure is deep down in my brain

@smartph0ne, Celcom is not bad at all, I use it, signal is strength is really good. Stay away from DiGi, they may be cheaper but signal sucks. Really sucks. Can't blame 'em though, its because of the frequency they use.

a big thanks to all you guys...so what i understand from your posts is that for a pay-as you-go/pre-paid connection in kl maxis or celcom should be good.
btw, k800i costs $675 u.s.

Yeah, Celcom and Maxis are good. Signal strength is good, but they are slightly more expensive when compared to DiGi.

Just so you know, must people use Maxis here. Maxis numbers start with either 012xxxxxxx or 017xxxxxxx. Celcom numbers start with 019xxxxxxx and DiGi is 016xxxxxxx. Just some extra info for you.
