Yes, it's absolutely normal. GSM calls could be recorded only in High Quality.

@volvoman so u didn't sell ur prototype? good good.. stay in the prototype club

u've seen the other silver one? damn.. that one is pretty sweet... it's been a while since i've posted here... lately, i've started using my extended li-ion battery (so it doesn't die from non-use)... i've had my prototype for more than a year and it's still working great.. ppl are still shocked and confused when they see it and wonder how da f*ck i got a prototype..

damn, looks like bennysoft's r520 page is gone for good

chris725 I also have a prototype one. Have a silver one as well. Had two silver one's but one was stolen along with my car from a hotel in Sweden about three weeks ago. I will post the IMEI number on here, so if anyone is offered it, in Norway as this is where I belive it is now, then they can contact both myself and your local police. Not sure when they were produced until, but I know it was not for long. As for the other dark coloured one, I have seen a real one, but the lad who had it would not sell it. He told me he bought it from someone who worked in development at Ericsson and that there were only 5 made in this coluor. They are supposed to have made them in 4 colours but not sure what the last colour was, this was to show to networks for them to decide what colours they wanted them in. Only the copper and silver ones were requested, so the other two colours were never made in any quantity. If any one here is from Ericsson can they confirm this please.

@Volvoman

Thanks for your reply. With regards to the dark coloured one, I think there were more than 5 made in this color. For a small country like the Philippines, one was already spotted here years ago. Anyway, I sure would be interested in getting rough estimates of Copper quantities (some say, 25,000?) and the dark colored as well to determine the relative scarcity of these phones.
