I used wotan to debrand my phone and all was ok. However I've noticed a hardware problem and I'm going to have to take it back to the shop...what do I do? Can I just say that I used SEUS and it updated me to R1ED001...? Or am I completely out of luck here?

I had used wotan before my old hardware problem i sent mine back and they just sent me a new one.

I`m from Romania and I had one credit on wotan(from spporobaby because wotan can`t validate visa(or any) cards from Romania).I wanted to update my software but after 1 min using wotan client appeared a message saying that my EROM is very old,and phone might not start after flashing,I thought I can update my software from seus(when is available) so I ugraded my EROM.When I tried to start my phone...SURPRISE

My phone is dead and cannot be started!!! And guess what? I must update my software to R1ED001 for resolving this problem

EROM sort of means extended ROM. It contains the primary certificate of the phone. You can upgrade it from r3a011 to r3a016 using Wotanserver.
If you do this though you will also need to flash the firmware (even if you allready have R1ED001), so you will need 2 wotan credits.
IF YOU JUST UPGRADE THE EROM WITHOUT REFLASHING THE FIRMWARE YOU WILL HAVE A PHONE THAT WON'T SWITCH ON
If you do this, this should in theory stop all the problems with the WSOD's and the phone not turning on again. Something i experienced myself.
I have to say mine went perfectly.
