re: globe GPRS roaming
i talked to globe CS a few weeks back to inquire if GPRS is enabled during roaming. the answer is no. w/in the country lang daw. and true enough, there was no GPRS signal when i used my fone sa HK. hope that helps.

guys,

thanks for the answer re my query on the data cables. sori about not searching before posting but i just opened the computer in the house before going and checked out the thead. when i saw the posts about the cable, i just posted without thinking to do a search (didnt have time coz i was about to go the office).

anyway, the past threads basically answered my question.

GOwin, pareho pala tayo ng setup - T39 + 505. Couldnt afford the T68 last year so got the T39 instead and finally retired my 6150 after almost 3 yrs of service. As you said in one of your post, it all has the same basic functionality (main factor was GPRS and tri-band). The rest was just icing on the cake.

My wife is getting the T68 from an 8210 (parati naman akong talo sa phone). I just wanted to make sure that i could also use the cable on her phone.

Nope, i am not going back to Nokia after seeing what they have to offer on their latest models (pare pareho na lang kasi and they still dont have a tri band phone). My bosses have also shifted to the T68 and R520 at about the same time i did.

talk to you guys soon.

@dan47: Okay yung Spa dun. My wife and I were thinking of joining. Apprehension lang namin, baka walang oras.

The Spa is actually across from us. As to whether I'm always there. Only in the evenings. Morning and afternoons I'm at work, but also in Makati.
