E90 has finally arrived on Virgin Mobile and I'm seriously considering taking out a second contract with them and using my Vodacom line strictly for business.
It's R425 over 24 months and with that you get R120 in airtime, the handset thrown in and the mandatory contract goodies like CLI and itemised billing.

@ Rhino,

Ja nee, that's on the to-do list. We usually braai by good friends of ours each weekend, but it's about time I bought one for our place.
The braais that one buys here are usually OK, but now some hardware/DIY and a few superstores sell braais here that seem a good copy of the half-barrel/drum braais that many people use back home use.
Now with the in-laws staying here in a few weeks' time, I can picture us braaing on the stoep soon enough.

Maybe I need to try and build a brick one on the far side of the stoep.

Skoonpa has a moerse braai built into the patio area at their place in CT; I've nicknamed his braai 'The Crematorium'.

@ da brixsta,
E90? You're gonna have The Hobbster in spasms...

I'm very impressed that SA has them already; only some of the independent sellers have them for sale here and virtually none of the networks have the E90 in their range at this stage...wow!

Hobbs is indeed spasmodic about that revelation Brix. But R425 a month over 24 months, thats just plain dumb.I wouldnt even consider that package. No sireee. But if you do decide to get it I'll take out a 3rd contract and join you.We can go down together in a blaze of the E90 glory.Geez,I wish I had a spare R8220 lying around. That baby would be mine.

@da HOBBS-ter: That Virgin Mobile deal does not come to much when one considers that on average my Vodacom bill comes out to about R1000 (a billion Zim dollars) EVERY month...that's including calls, data and text messages. If I had a second line, I would halve that comfortably.

Yeah, the E90 is a monster and I've always fancied myself with a Communicator. The size of these things have put me off but yeah, for the all the features plus S60, I'd happily take the plunge...now I just need the courage to get into one of the their stores.

@Brix-When does your present contract expire? Also, wait for Vodacom or MTN to bring out the handset.I cant imagine having the E90 without 3G access.
