Z Ultra doesn't have new UXP, it will debut first on Honami. But Z Ultra will get new UXP as an update after Honami release.

Not 5500RMB as someone here misquoted, it can be bought online for 2000RMB. The Z doesn't even cost 5500 in stores here, nor did it ever even at markup.

They are screw ups in my opinion because they could have been easily solved with a slightly thicker device. The only time I compared the device to the 6.3 was on size basis and didn't cheer or complain either way. I also have not mentioned the S4 anywhere with regards to price and it would be better to compare the device to the upcoming note 3 which will have a built in stylus, probably bigger battery, pressure sensitivity and a flash. A flash is not always needed, I hate using it on my NEX, but sometimes in rare occasions it is needed and I'd rather have one just in case. Although I do use the flash on my S2 as a flashlight often.
I didn't say the device is a complete fail though, I like it, I feel it will be too big for my smaller hands but if the wireless bluetooth receiver is not too much I can see myself using the ultra. Reminds me of the good old walkman days with the inline remotes that came with the minidisc or discman.

Price of Z in Poland was 2799 or 2899 pln so around 650 euros, when it launched, it dropped now to 440 euros but I doubt the dealer is reputable, so 460 to 500 euros is the current price of the Z in Poland, so cheaper than launch but still pretty expensive. The prices are from online retailers and not official sony Poland prices which are ridiculous.

the price hopefully is with VAT, otherwise it will be even more expensive. VAT in Holland is about the same as in Poland, 21% vs 23% I believe so prices will be generally similar, so my complaint is still valid from my experience here in Poland with regards to pricing on phones. This is from an official sony press release so again I do believe the price especially since it is a phone, and with LTE and a Sony and that tends to jack up the price.

August reveal, late September launch, mini Honami in March '14.
And Eldar was right that Sony may downgrade screen quality. Either on updated Z or Honami (or both).
