You go Hobbs, lol. I also wouldn't be bothered what certain quarters say about the P990i when most who 'provide the hot air' probably don't own a P990i or haven't tried one with the new firmware.

I've still got my 3+ year old P900 purely because (bar the camera) it still delivers, and that also makes the long wait for its replacement that much more bearable.

I wish I had tried out one of the other P-series phones.I remember I chose a crappy Samsung D410 around the time the P910 came out.The P910 was to expensive at the time so I went with the D410 which was the first phone to have a 200000 colour display and was the top non smartphone at the time.Nice phone but very basic. Then came the Motorola V3i which I absolutely adored the design of but was to slow it became unbearable.Traded that in for the Nokia 6680 which was my first smart-phone but when the N70 came along it kiled my 6680 experience. This phone as Wanga has had with his P900 should take me a good 2 years before I need to trade it in.Maybe more.

Quote of the week from last week:

'South Africa’s Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Aziz Pahad acknowledged on Thursday that South Africa was “concerned that the economic situation is not in the interest of the people of Zimbabwe”.

No sh*t, Sherlock...

@ JC,
Hard to say exactly at this point, but are bringing them in a lot closer to UK/Europe releases lately. It used to be a gap of 3-4 months, now it seems to be roughly a month or so, judging by some of the latest releases like the W880i, K810i, etc.

I personally consider Celine Dion the top female vocalist perhaps in the world, but I would not even pay R200 to go see her. Now lets talk Muse, or U2...there I would invest R400, tightening my belt, but willingly.

I will send some of my troops from my online game (Travian) to take down mugabe...I will make it a full-on attack, send in about 1200 Imperians, a hero, and some horsie guys...I just hope they don't have traps....

U2 I'd agree with, but no Muse for me. Brilliant guitar work, no question, but the whiney vocal delivery just doesn't float my boat.

Best live gig to date for me has to be Rammstein. They were AWESOME!

Slipknot (live) a distant second.

Now lets go to some more musician type artists, like Dire Straits, that would be a good show. Not that the vocal work is phenomenal, but you usually only get musicians at shows like that:-)

You know what, if I had the money to see Celine, I would rather get myself some flat response speakers. Same price for tiny speakers, but they are for mixing. If it sounds good on flat response speakers, it should sound good almost anywhere.

Watching The Island, will stop half way for sleep. Want to try an early night for a change...earlier than 2am:-)
