Well it's a matter of personal taste. I like Apple better than HTC though I love HTC's designs. The Legend is a wonderful phone! So is the Desire but I prefer the iPhone 4 look.

Here are some professional pics of the same case plus the Apple Bumper ( black color ) and you can see the Speck Fitted on a pic but it's not installed on the phone. It's not a bad case but not my thing...

It's called Frost because of the different finish on the aluminum.

regarding your question about the material these cases are made of... they are made of air-craft grade aluminum.
I like the Bumper. It does protect the phone when it's laying on a table.
