Trust me I have over 20 friends with a W800 and they all sound worse for me then the W995. I think its cause you're not used to clear sound on the new phones. I mean megabass isn't even in this as far as I remember so what?

did all this ... really i know how to use this phone and it is really very bad sound compare to what i am used to ... have a friend at home and tested it now with him and what i hear? the w800i sounds much better

i have never used the megabass on my W800i,the w800i had a very strong megabass and it would be too much.(did use it on my P1i but it was not so strong)
and there is nothing wrong with my phone it is just not so good like my old W800i,this walkman has no power and the bass is very poor!

Your phone must have something wrong cause the W995 is one of the top notch walkmans. The sound for me at least is way better then the W800 and the battery life is excellent.
