maybe i didn't analize it properly, but i see no picture improvement in the Arc. the extra brightness may come from the higher ISO. Any chance to snap some more and even some daylight pictures?

What? The arc pic is much better than the X10 one!

I've been analizing them for some minutes and i noticed that it isn't only ISO related, there is much more noise and less detail in the x10, probably thanks to the exmor R.

Check this out, you will notice the difference between both:

Will be placing my order for the Arc with Clove tommorrow.

I'm wondering whether it will still come out on time? There hasn't been any announcements to say it will be delayed so let's hope not as i am going to order one from Clove soon too once i know for sure that they are coming out on time.

Well Clove are very quick normally to update their site if threre any changes made to release dates.

Had a look on the Clove this morning, and at present it is still showing the 28th March.

It looks like the Exmor-R actually makes a difference in low light?

To those of you that have the Arc now: what's the SAR-value of it?

@unknown
I have seen samples like that at the MWC videos. Seems like it can handle light better, but there isnt a major difference at pictures, maybe there is in VR. +that in daylight shots i havent seen any good pictures so far. Maybe the cameraman was always shaking, or fingerprints on the lens, but i havent seen 1 normal photo. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, but it aint great eighter. At least not as great as the hype. More samples plz?

EDIT: and after some more staring at the pictures, i STILL cant find more detail on the Arc shot, only more light and wider image. I still cant read the small letters that are on the books (well not that small), and what i can read on the Arc i can also read on the X10. Maybe the X10 misfocused, but thats about it. If there was a big difference it would pop out, and be obvious, but as long as i have to stare at them and analize at pixel level... well there isnt. Maybe it's this idiot Dell monitor from work, but i really CANT see any difference aside from more light.
Does it have wider angle lens or you took the picture from different positions? Because that can be a factor too. Waiting for some 1:1 identical shots.

Exmor R from what many professional photography experts say on what I read in photography magazines actually creates more noise. Its evident in the Sony WX1 Cyber-shot camera. Even many consumers were unconvinced. Even though I am getting the Neo I am not buying cos I am convinced of Exmor. I had a Sony camera with Exmor once and my newer Samsung camera with no CMOS sensor performed better in lowlight simply cos of its f1.8 bright lens. Its all a gimmick
