On the discussion of comparison I have just seen GSM Arena's images from the Galaxy S5
Samsung's own new ISOCELL is awful the GS4 was alot better
Thats because the S4 had a Sony sensor, they can't make sensors like Sony can.

A bit weird what you say bono because i find pics taken with the S5 close to S4 but better.
Same texture, colors a bit warm, a bit of over sharpening, contrast a bit high, sometimes over exposed...exactly like S3/S4 But it seems better in low light.
I don't see what you find so different from the S4.

808 Forever. Best camera in a phone so far, unmatched.
Plus I dont understand the nice issues with manufacturers and the saturation. The world is not "warm" and yellowish, damn it.
Thats why I sold the Lumia 1020, the colors were too yellow.

Unless a manufacturer is willing to forgo the idea of super slim phones and add larger sensors -OR- sensor technology gets significantly better regarding size and density, this will be the case for next few years, I fear.

Agreed.. but keep in mind that some people "prefer" that look. While I don't much care for the saturated look either, I look past it as I have the ability with my 1020 to shoot RAW files and deal with it later.... Again, saturation (IMO) doesn't add to or degrade the standing of a camera regarding IQ (It's only how the jpg is processed)....

... not sure you should have done that quite yet
I for one think there is a real chance 8.1 could either rectify that issue or bring sharpness/saturation adjustments to the 1020 (Which would be AWESOME).
