In a press conference today in Dubai, Sony announced that Xperia Z will be launched in both UAE and KSA in the first week of March, the presenter hinted of the possibility of having it next week in KSA, but the main time is the first week of March...

Price will be AED 2490 / SAR 2490 which translate to $660, in Bahrain I'm expecting same launch time frame with same price ( BHD 249 ) but there's a possibility of a little bit higher price ( maximum BHD 20 = $53 )...

Well, Thailand will get this beauty sometime in April, never mind from Sony for less priority market.

I got to have some hands on time with a ZL and Z today. The ZL had a noticeably brighter screen. ZL felt so nice in ny hand. I am really torn between the two devices. They both are amazing.

Also saw that the IR remote is just below the power button so you have to hold the phone in landscape when using the IR remote.

The ZL was just about the same size as my TL.

About the ZL having the brighter screen, I don't think it was really that noticeable. I tried both of them at CES and also compared my Xperia T with it, he's right about the ZL being about the same size as the T which is why I'm planning on getting the ZL, 5" over the 4.5" and same size body, why not right?

Sony Xperia Z review

We were pleased to find the Xperia Z not only lasted a day but went a good way through a second. As you can see from the screenshot we went 31 hours and still had 20 percent of the battery remaining.

They praised abt the screen
"viewing angle is incredibly large . At trial, he easily touches 170 °. One of the best displays that I have ever seen is. And one of the finest. The new Mobile Bravia Engine 2 is not there to decorate and FULL HD either."..
