Good test of the 4K video quality and stabilisation test of the Z2 and S5

SPOILER alert - The Z2 wins every category and there is a Canon 70d used as a benchmark for colour accuracy.
Sorry I don't know how you can say that?
Yes I admit the Z2 is far more smoother but the S5 has more detail and is sharper and the audio sounds better too.

Z2 > S5 in stabilisation
S5 > Z2 in quality and colours...
Bonovox can you post samples from your Z2? Would be great if they were shot in manual. I have a theory that some units have better cameras than others.

@admad the colours in the S5 video are over saturated and the bloke who done the video even says the Z2 has the better colour accuracy when compared to the Canon 70d plus I prefer a more natural looking video but it's each to there own in that sense.

colors and contrast can be easily modified. you can easily get free tools to do it from download.com.
you can go as saturated as contrasty as you want with various post-production methods but it will be difficult to bring back real colors if you already had them tainted with over-saturation straight out of the camera.
with shaky videos ... i don't know of any quick solution although i read a news article about an advanced software some years ago that can correct shaky videos. i'm not sure if you can get it for free.
unfortunately, for z2, the field of view is reduced to give way for stabilization.
z2 is still the overall winner for me on that comparison.
i hope they can also do comparisons for the 1080p videos. nobody's going to use 4k that much.
those who have problems with their unit, please post some samples here. we've already seen a good number of samples that don't bear such problems. even the superior auto shots posted here don't have softening or blurring on the edges. they're crisp and noise-free although the higher exposure or ISO used is quite obvioius when compared to the photos taken by the s5.

Guys you are hilarious.
It's clear that Z2 has totally smooth video and S5 is shaky.
So why in this situation you compare sharpness???!!
Who cares about sharpness if the video is hard to watch.
Lack of common sense here. Of course image stabilizer takes away some detail lol.
And saying that Z2 has worse sound.... Some people are deaf here.
Z2 sound is on another level than S5.
Lol.

The GS5 has terrible muffled sound for video compared to the older S4. @doministry as for trying harder well I do know how to take a good photo and a steady one at that. I can categorically tell you my unit has horrible blurring in the right corner almost looks like a heat haze

please, bono, i also suppose it's similarly easy to post your pictures here.
or are you waiting for bad weather or some type of weather condition to recreate that blurry photo you are saying? you can quickly silence all of us here who doubt your claims with your posted photos.
lastly, please do a drop test since you don't seem to like your device and you appear to be wealthy enough to change your phones whenever you please

if that device is really defective, it deserves to be crushed. you can crush it to buy a one plus one.

Recreate a blurry photo?? Have you never seen my photos in the photos section on Esato?? You will see none are blurry & I can assure you I have steady hands & know how to take a good photo. I am telling you that my unit has blurry right hand side I don't have to show you anything. The phone was steady in sunlight and grey light too on all 8mp,20mp & 15mp in SA & using manual but all had the same thing. I thought the photos were so shit I deleted them. Maybe I have poorly aligned optics but I am telling you they are blurry. I get sick to the back teeth on Esato when people assume you are lying about something. People say oh my unit is fine not blurry, well, mine is

The blurring is so bad it can be seen without zooming in like a haze
