These leaks look more correct. Side mounted fingerprint scanner with volume rocker above as well as the camera button at the bottom. Also, notice the line from the top to the sensor part that could be for an antenna line or something. It looks more like the XZP overall, they've removed the bottom plastic strip from the original XZ which is good to see. Sensor hole looks quite large while the design is looped again. Having the side fingerprint scanner suggests that there won't be a significant side bezel reduction while it doesn't look like the device is shorter either so I wouldn't expect anything like the S8.

Now that's more like it. Looks like we are getting a full metal phone after Xperia P. I loved that phone. I love metal. I like it the way it feels in the hand. Hopefully it will also have smaller bazels. At least 76% screen to body ration.

Aesthetics is the trend now. I do hope Sony changes something (the bezels please). It will be almost a year now since they announced the Xperia XZ. They already have a lot of time for some radical changes.

It looks like it's made of metal, so no wireless charging, and NFC moved back to the front of the phone. In my opinion NFC is next to useless on the front of the phone. Just when I thought I found my next phone...
