@ Rhino,
Yeah, kinda expensive treats, although the regular Mrs Balls is actually stocked in some of the local supermarkets now. Because the families that I got these for are from the Asian sub-continent, I paid the extra for the chilli chutney from the local SA shop, as I thought it'd be a little more 'up their street'.

@ goldenface,
The SA chutney relish is usually used in place of brown sauce or ketchup, ie. hot dogs, meat and meat dishes, particularly barbecues, etc.
Mrs Ball's chutney is an extremely popular SA product. As I was mentioning to Rhino, the 2 local Tesco superstores in Essex and east London stock it (the original one only, which is my personal fave anyway). If you were to try one out, I'd suggest the original one too. It's not hot at all and quite tangy.
It seems to be catching on here. It was intriguing to hear cockney accents in the SA shop deciding which other Mrs Ball's chutneys to try out, once they became hooked on the regular one sold at Tesco's.

@ Carkitter,
Keven Mealamu certainly seemed to warrant his no.2 spot in the team. That's quite a team that NZ have together at the moment, with the likes of Carter, Rokocoko, Sivivatu, Gear, Jack, Kelleher, et al.

Spare parts she had lying around in her workshop.

Alot of phones cant be repaired, or would be too expensive to repair, then she strips the phones for spare parts, and apparently, she had a nokia N90 lying there, ready to be built from spare parts.

Totally missed the thread. Now I need to catch up! Missed the rugby on the weekend, couldn't stomach watching the AB's running riot against a B-team. Was contemplating watching the "90 Minutes for Mandela" match at Newlands but I'm not paying R150 to see a bunch of oldies like Pele and Gullit on a kickabout.

Tell me about it dude... i've an old busted 6600 which i use to charge my 6680's spare batteries, been toying with the idea of having it fixed sometime... after i had the other 6600's casing replaced, i installed all the old favourites, had a few happy hours playing about with it. Rhino, you're a lucky man!

@ Wanqa, definitely a nice gesture you guys made there boet. Now you need to introduce them to biltong and droë wors, lol. I see that the authorities have become strict about biltong and wors being brought into the UK by visitors.

A mix of work, facebook and a busy social schedule has meant that I can only occasionally browse the esato and when I do I don't really have much to say. Noticed that there's been a lot of things happening on the site: A war of words between masseur and some other members over locking of threads and temporary banning of longstanding members.

Was supposed to take my phone off to get fixed but could never get to it. Then just to serve as a remind, the phone had a minor crash this evening of it's internal memory...pics and mp3 tones just disappeared
