Early reports indicate Xperia S is selling like hot cakes everywhere. Flying off the shelves like no . Good start for Sony.

source?

Check XDA, you'll know. Unknown13x also mentioned it today in the hayabusa thread.

Standard Xperia email app works well but has idiotic limitation, which makes the programme store ONLY 25 emails on the device. So even if you'll store 300 mails on the phone, on the next session everything will be deleted and only 25 mails will stay. Terrible.

Attachements will not be downloaded unless you'll click the specific email to see it.

I used ProfiMail previously, but it just doesn't work on Xperia S. They say they work on a complete revamp of the app,
it was brilliant in the past.

But now I have K-9 mail and it's just great.

Thanks. So, basically, since they are always hundreds of e-mails on the server, if I update my e-mail in the phone it will download them all, and then if I close the e-mail app it will delete all but 25 and then when I reopen the app it will once again download all those e-mails?

No it won't. What I'm saying it always keeps THE LAST 25 emails on device and wipes off your phone everything more,
even if you download more, it will wipe it off the phone. Of course, not from the server (until you perform delete of course)

I, for one, would definitely want to be able to store more than 25 e-mails.

I hope this gets fixed in an update. ICS, even.

In ICS the GMail app allows syncing of upto 999 days worth of email, so its sort of fixed it in GMail ,ive set mine to 30days.

EDIT: i just put my GS2 Offline and then went into GMail and yep, Emails from the past 30days were all available to open.
The Email app on the other hand limits to a month, seems Google REALY wants you to switch to GMail.

I don't use Gmail, though, and I have no intention of switching any time soon...

Doministry, I like your night Straszydło:) photo. But still feel that it will only be in 2013 ehen we actually see some progress in camera dept. form sony. Iso 50 daytime shots aren't good. So much detail is lost:( I understand for such tiny sensors those iso 200+ shots must be either noisy or have strong nr, but for iso 50 shots it's not that good.

Until we'll have really larger sensors, no revolutionary changes will be made.
BTW what Straszydlo is
