Its certainly more stable than ever.. That last update to 10.1 really helped. Considering how feature rich the OS is, I am surprised that there aren't more problems. Also.. considering Nokia's incompetence when it comes to software.

Unless a manufacturer is willing to forgo the idea of super slim phones and add larger sensors -OR- sensor technology gets significantly better regarding size and density, this will be the case for next few years, I fear.
Yeah, I think we are at least a few years away from brand new sensor technology that doesn't rely on the physical size of whatever it is that collects the light. Graphene seems to be one direction, but I feel like that thing is everyone now, and yet again it can't seem to leave the lab...its all concepts..

I confess voting 10+ on every photo taken by a 808 Pureview (and help that way keeting 808 photos as the highest ranked).

if you vote based on raw IQ .. there is no other way but to vote on the high end. The voting system here sucks anyway.. I don't even bother
nice read emerson shei
Yeah, its a special gadget indeed..
I see it as an over-engineered pioneering device that was meant to showcase what Nokia's imaging team and the Zeiss team were capable of. There hasn't been such a huge leap forward in the industry for years. I am glad that they released it to the public.. its one of those devices that could've stayed in the labs forever.
I am sure that there will be new technology that will surpass it sooner than later, but considering how fast everything is moving in the tech world, to hold the crown in any aspect for longer than a few months is an achievement, let alone 2 years...
Here, this is an interesting concept for something new..

maybe some of it can trickle down to mobiles eventually
