^ so are you saying the headphone jack is the only reason keeping you from going to other OEMs... who coincidentally, don't have a headphone jack either? interesting
granted, i would hate for them to remove their headphone jack. i use mine quite often.

Flip the page from wired headphone to wireless approx last three months, damn I should do it much earlier
I don't quite understand why people still keep cling on to aged technology for today device.
Only have one simple Sony SBH-24 which can last for 6hrs
maybe upgrade to neck-band WI-1000X when it change to damn USB-C port.

It was like when Samsung release their first octa-core chipset to market, people complaint/joke about it alot
and today, flock to buy Snapdragon 835/845 or whatever, too bad it offers same octa-core setup.

Before I got my MDR-1000X I was a firm believer in the 3.5mm headphone jack ad I didn't think wireless could replicate the sound quality of a wired pair of cans. All I can say is how wrong I was. With LDAC and Bluetooth 5.0 on any device the sound quality is second to none. I understand that people may have paid a fair amount of their hard earned cash to buy a pair of high quality wired headphones and that I can see is very frustrating and most likely may sway peoples options when it comes to a new smartphone but I genuinely see where Sony is heading with this especially as LDAC is part of the Android 8.0 source code.

It's depending on what's the wired headphone you have use.
I own both MDR-1A and MDR-1000x also the high quality cable so I'm sure I know about it.

^ I have both too and tge MDR-1A's can't hold a candle to the MDR-1000X and I've tested them both at the same time extensively.
