@addiecool
glad things are looking better!
@weasel
that is the updated firmware, make sure your battery is charged before you try again (and back-up data first if you need to)

Do you guys find that your phone can read the memory card properly? Has anyone tried assigning a ringtone that's saved on the memory card through he Sounds and alerts menu?
This is not possible with my phone , even on the updated firmware.
By the way i have tried using different formatted memoty cards..

My screen still flickers a tiny bit (not as bad as before) to find out what firmware you have do the following:
1. Click Main Menu
2. Click More
3. Select System Information
Hope that helps...

Just saw a great feature that i like in the phone, dont think you could do this in the old firmware cause I am sure i tried it before. When a dialogue box appears with a yes or no answer e.g. Do you want to delete the message, pressing 'Y' selects Yes and 'N' selects No. This allows you do operate the phone one handed with mroe ease. Wish there was a way to create a new message by pressing N or some other keyboard combination

@avantis, my device has no problem in reading from memory card, my ring tone is saved in the memory card and I have no problems.
@gabster, thanx for that tip, it's a good one.
