Warid no longer charge the prepaid customers Rs60/month for GPRS. I dont know if its the same for postpaid or not.

Not JUST that!! ... i recently switched to Warid from Mobilink, bcaz of the attractive SMS and 30secs calling rates ... now back with Mobilink i used to enjoy an OK GPRS internet usage both on the cell and on pc via teh cell. Now with telenor i've done every possible way to get GPRS ..but the Warid customer support has totally disappointed me ... looks like they have totally noobs sitting in their call centers they are paying to. With mobilink i just had to install the received settings ...set up opera mini for the first time and that was all .. now with Warid ..even though their service shows GPRS to be enabled on my pc .... their help line talks about something 'backend' my @55 .... saying my sim would take time blah blah blah ..i've instaleld their gprs settings but i aint getting any gprs signals ..not that i live outta city or anything but everything takes 4,5 + hours to get ready ..including the ZOOM and ZOOMU SMS packages ... quite a sucking service i would say bcaz of the slow response and shitty helpline ... back to mobilink for the GPRS atleast. erm..to be honest ..currently using my MOBILINK SIM to connect to the web ..the warid sim is somewhere b/w my trash tray and my pc table ..lets see what it deserves ..doh warid customer services .. 'sir u need to get to our head office for anything else' ..darn men ... wait for 10 mins in que to get to talk to a customer-support'officer' ...

You'll be lucky if you get connected through your mobile. Try from the PTCL phone, it works from there.
