Did you close M3? Don't. Check the folder before you close the program !

Uninstall M3 and then re-install. Then try converting an AVI file. Just so we know it's working.
Download this to convert. It's a football clip.
http://www.mediafire.com/?6nxwwnbdzmz 8mb file.
after you re-install M3 run it. You will get a pop up asking for the Nero audio codecs zip file. click NO and a browse box will appear. find the zip file and click Ok. you get an info page.
then click find files. find the football AVI above.
select P990 from the settings.
click convert file.
DONE!
If that doesn't work I have no idea what you're doing wrong.

I don't know. Copy protection maybe. I'm not up on that side of things. Glad you know it works though. Maybe try ripping the DVD first and then try. Hopefully somebody else can offer advice.

I'm just trying to convert a DVD now using only M3 and it is working fine. I put the DVD in the drive then clicked Add DVD. A message box appears about ripping DVDs' I clicked Ok (or yes) cant remember. Then I got the DVD dialog box.
I gave it a name and clicked add title. then finished. then just click convert.
M3 really is a piece of pi55 to use

I tried to add subtitles to an original DVD (Kingdom of Heaven), but that did not work out. I only get the *.mp4 file without any subtitles. Maybe I do something wrong or miss something? (I never downloaded it to my M600i, only previewed it by using QuickTime and VLC player)
Anyways, the M3 program is very nice....compared to the Xilisoft and SE Media Studio !
