that's the price Eldar's paid for trying to be the "first" out with a review (which IMO, gave totally inaccurate and rubbish info about a phone since the phone used in review is a prototype)

i've seen some reviews on mobile-review. P990 and W950 a year before they got released and N80 before it was released.

Hi!

Apologies for digging up old skeletons!

Now that the Flagship SE Cybershot has been announced and is due to hit the shelves this holiday season, is there any chance we might see Nokia announcing and quickly shipping these 2 rumoured handsets, specially the N82?!

I currently own a P990i and N73 and largely prefer S60 over UIQ3. So an "N82" with Xenon flash and all the other goodies would be wonderful! Would'nt it?

I dont think SE's product release should have any effect on Nokia product release date none of these are realistically competing with each other in terms of sales.

Why some peopld insist on spreading inaccuracies? s60v3 is very stable. It has been through many iterations and most bugs have been ironed out.

Nokia has always something up it sleeves. They are not the 1 cellphone manufacturer for nothing.

Thats absolutely right, and from what I've seen so far, it looks like they're getting through the stability issue, little by little. Some time ago their phones were much less stable than now.But there is still work to do.On the other hand, what they're doing with the quality of their products - well,I can't understand why there is not any improvement, even drawback IMO.The design and the quality of the new SE phones is much better than what we've seen from Nokia this year, and especially the N95.Maybe N82 is better, but I doubt N81 will be.Simply because of the slider problem and the gloss surface which will catch fingerprints.Somebody may say that the W960i will have the same problem.I can't say for sure whether its the same case as the N81,but at least the screen should be equipped with an anti-fingerprint and anti-reflective protector IMO.The buttons also look a little bit different from the remaining surface.I suppose they won't catch fingerprints also, because they look as if they're covered with the same protector as the display. The back and sides are not glossy,so no fingerprints. But the rest of the front panel looks fingerprint-friendly .Luckily, its not that large.
