@magg, it takes me 15-20 sec to see the whole picture in zoom mode on 'that page'. Is it really slow on my phone or it's just ok?

off topic. @aatuif, which phone are you using? your speed is impressive. are you on edge? it takes me to open the page (396kb) in 120-140 sec. (though i am not on edge.

)
on the topic, i am not taking about the time taken to download the page. i am taking about the time taken (ofcourse after the download) by the opera's cursor to hover over the big picture. this takes me 15-20 sec. hope you get it.

Haha... Just closed om, re-booted phone, back to esato and STILL LOGGED IN! fixed

new posts show correctly etc...
So being still logged in is this because you didn't log in to a PC on Esato in between; thus no invalidating the OM4Beta's Cookie on the phone?
Thx.

... True - but tue/wed I had to re-login after every move, i.e. post reply: login first; reply posted - have to login again etc etc.... THAT, I meant, has been fixed! Haven't tried loggin' in on pc in the meantime! Will try after work!

but if i understand correctly, whenever a user does a search in an opera browser's built-in search field, whether google or yahoo, they get paid by the respective search engine. i'm nt 100% sure on this, but that is the impression i got from something i read recently.
Yes this is exactly how Opera is funded. Presumably Yahoo are paying more than Google, hence the switch.

Yahoo are paying more because they don't have many takers otherwise...

well opera receives licensing fees for manufacturers to build the browser into their phones, e.g., SE in its UIQ lineup. also windows mobile users have to purchase the opera browser.

so if you want to pay back opera for all the great stuff it gives us for free, then keep using the search box in the browser.
Great information! THanks.
