Shame the touch has poor capacity. Looking at it from Apple's point of view though it would most likely seriously affect their iPhone sales if it was like 60-80gb or even just 30gb!
Not gunna be tempted though...

I really want a touch. But I'm waiting for the new iPhone AND I use my PSP for videos and I just ordered a PSP Slim.
Funny how gadgets are built to be all in one, but we still have a mobile, Mp3 player, video player and so on in our pockets (and they all do everything anyway as well
)

I like it (the touch) and I dont usually like ipods. Might get one instead of the iphone, it has the web and wifi. Maybe wont need a smartphone.
Apple shouldnt have taken out the notes and google maps apps.

Hi all,
Well seeing as i have only just bought the 80gb iPod and had it for 5 days and already have 16gb of stuff on there already the touch how ever snazzy it is would already be full. So that makes all the other things it can do for me pretty useless.
I really don't need a Web browser or WiFi on my iPod as i have all that on my E61 i bought the iPod for Music, Films, Video and photos. Plus the fact the touchscreen is going to use much more power hence the greatly reduced running times start Web browsing using WiFi and the battery life is going to really start to suffer. What good are all the extras if they kill your battery and I'm just not a touch screen fan any longer.
But as always what's good for some of us may not be for others I'm still very happy with my purchase just waiting for my Vaja case to ship on the 9th and arrive. So no i don't feel cheated as i bought what i wanted and felt i needed and as i paid just over £190 delivered am still happy with my purchase over the newly announced versions. Also there is no way I'm buying anything from the iTunes store either not now not ever.
