megabass is till now still nice for me
but sometimes when the songs stops n changes to another song
there will b a pause
n i could hear some faint crackin sound
sometimes i hear it
sometimes not
could b my phone's problem
or if there are any betatesters out there wit the same problem
then its not my phone
i guess u also should release ur ultrabass version
for those that mainly listen to a lot of bass
seems to me tat some of the ppl at sense likes bass too much
it will cater to their taste
but for me its megabass all the way

handset 0_call is responsible for it. Anyway i think we should focus more on ear plug sound quality instead of loudspeaker. I found that K790i has the good sound output so far for me for those who want to change the loudspeaker sound ouput just replace farfield play. Anyway peter done a great job for the acoustic and i hope the next update will improve the ear plug quality althought is good for the recent acoustic. I wonder how will be ultrabass like lol. I guess even sony will proudly salute you hahaha.

good day to all.

i tried testing acoustic files in my phone, k800i. i have found out that the PHF_PLAY.zapf is perhaps the only one that control the sound of the earphones. the farfield_play.zapf controls the loudspeaker and with that i tested the files acoustic that i have. here are my observations.

1. the main acoustic files of w850i sounds better than that of the w880i.
2. the PHF_play.zapf of sunfire7v2, xaeromaloud and pedroPS1.1 are the same.
(though Pete said he'll use the xaeroma files.)
3. the PHF_play.zapf asash and and faur are the same (the MEGABASS)
4. the farfield files of sunfire7v2 and xaeromaloud are the same
5. pedroPS1.1 farfield_play.zapf is the same as that of sunfire7v2 and xaeromaloud
6. if you like VERY LOUD message alert and loudspeaker play, use either ego or cepera farfield_play.zapf

* this may sound a surprise, but i believe, the sound in the earphones of xaeromaloud,sunfire7v2 and pedroPS1.1 are the same. (correct me if im wrong)
* the BASS quality of asash and faur are the same.

as a conclusion, we may trim down our huge list of acoustic files to just two (2) when it comes to loudspeaker and earphone play. if we like more bass but lesser volume, use item (3). if you prefer louder sounds, but lesser bass, use item (2).

with these files, you can now mix them to the original w850i, w880i or even the original k800i/k810i acoustic files.
Hope wat i have shared could help us in trimming down the acoustic files that we mix.

@pedroPS
when it comes to lowering the volume, that i dont know till up to this moment. i have a FEELING that when the sunfire or xaero PHF_play is edited to lower the treble, the result will be the asash or faur PHF_play. im i right? please correct me if im wrong. i wish you luck in your v2. hope in the near future i will have more time so that i can now begin editing aocustic files. through that we can relate better in modding our acoustics. thanks dude and more power (Acoustic Power!) hehe

the PHF_play.zapf file is the one responsible for the earphone sounds. you can check my topic here for more info.

I wouldn't mind beta testing. I use a HMP-70 and also have a rather nice Sennheiser HD-202 that I can use for testing.

I mostly listen to rock/metal.

Damm is my song problem or K810i speaker sucks? I can hear some cracking sound. Is It normal? Or my hardware faulty?

its your speaker and its normal. k810 or k800 doesnt have a good loudspeaker. it breaks at max volume especially the bass. try to lower it down up to the 6th marker, its the best setting without cracking the sound.
