at this moment no. you cannot use zoom keys to control functions because zoom is blocked in K550 when in 2MP mode. maybe some day someone will break it. i'm sure this can be done with driver

i'm using my idea from K750. you can set shutter value but it's not visible in realtime on viewfinder. only on demand (half press and release key) preview will be enabled/disabled
you can set shutter value, use normal AF speed and make shot. shutter speed will be enabled just before snapshot process (freezed viewfinder), auto shutter is restored when picture is saved
i really don't like how K800 behaves when manual shutter speed is in use

Use your imagination and divide the keys controls to have two options
the key zoom usually has 4 options to key ev +/- has 6 options divided
