DaVinci worked like a charm, I recommend it, takes approximately 10 minutes and then everything works fine

Hmm thanks, I'll probably give this FW a go once I hit BROD. Although hopefully SE will release an update by then.

Just had my first random reboot after owning this phone for 2 days. Ugh!

Would anyone recommend using R1DA038 as a "safe" firmware to downgrade to via. KulanKendi? I need some insight - the last time I owned a K850i was during the R1CA029 era... lol.. thanks!

One month and 3 days of daily use with R1DA038 and only 4 freezes so far. It's true that I actually turn it off/back on once a day (or two days, if I forget) to reset and free the memory. I read that the battery life is poor with this FW version, but this is how I bought the phone so I can't compare. I was willing to upgrade ONLY because I want my battery to last longer, other than this I had no other major issues with it.
I am recommending it as safe based on my personal experience.

we hope to see:
Face recognition (as in the C902)
more stable / more zippy firmware
the H icon (mine only displays 3G even I'm into a HSDPA coverage)

Brod = blue ring of death
its a failure on the phone, like a bug, so you cant use your phone because it does not turn on at all, only keyboard and camera ring turn on.

I have fixed my BROD with kulankendi

io domi:
That's normal.
Now, when BROD, only your keyboard and the blue ring will light up.
Nothing else.

I have the same firmware as you have and I've never experience anything weird on my phone.

io_domi if your keyboard and camera ring will light on and display will be off and nothing will work you will know that U have BROD.

thanks!
