@ Plangatan
Thats useless without showing competitors charts as well. As much as I love se I have a strong feeling Nokia's sales rape se in all 4 quaters just because of the plain n simple fact they are inexpensive, easy to find, in almost all carrier package plans, and are popular.
Just came back from New Jersey and all you see in the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon dealers are phones like nokia, motorola, and samsung. Se is no where to be found and America probably has more cellular phone owners the all of Europe. Says alot bout them Sales Plank!!!

@Plankgatan
What's the point of digging up old stats? We're dealing with 2008 and things don't look as rosy as they once did.
SE's ship is sinking and it will be very interesting to see what Dick's strategy offers in the next 6 months. He does seem like he knows where he wants to go and how to get there.
Everything will be revealed Q1 next year. I think by then SE will have a clearer picture as they'd be having result and a definite strategy and maybe new, innovative and better products.
Should the results not improve then there'll be serious problems.

Plank's taken it upon himself to be SE's spokesman. I'll assume that's why he posts 30+ pics a day in the C902 thread to prove some point.

Loser? Harsh. You have to admit you've taken over the C902 photo thread since day one. I call 'em like I see 'em. Simple.

Err... your quite wrong. Read the thread title again, it says nothing about Nokia.

Those stats aren't old as such. They cover all 2007 which wasn't that long ago - it's only August. Those are the months that this years figures are being compared to so they are very relevant.
Just because you're down on SE doesn't mean the stats back up your grievances. My country has seen two Q's in a row of negative growth, should we all panic? Now is the time for good decision making and investment which is exactly what SE is doing.

The points that were raised are valid.
- financially or in terms of profit, SE is struggling. Do you have any concrete info to the contrary? No.
- SE's products have lost the competitive edge since mid-2006. Do you disagree? Prove it, which I know you can't.
- SE's high end offering is practically non-existent. The old P1 and the W960 are regarded as high end which is a shame when you consider that the former is STILL a P990i with more ram, the latter STILL offers nothing new.
If the best you can do is call others names without real and constructive input then you're blinded by your loyalty to SE.

Asking questions and answering them in the same sentence shows that you're not interested in debate, only your own opinion. How unusual that SE's critics seem convinced that they know everything.
@Paul101
You're criticising Plankgatan for posting photos in a photo thread and for defending SE on an SE Forum?
What's up with that?
