Where do you get hold of the firmware update for the MSI Bluetooth dongle?

c0mm0n says something about '373' but I'm on 2xx something?

Can't find it on the MSI website either.

Anybody help?

Don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere in this topic but MSI have release thei own version of the Widcomm 1.3.2.7 package which includes a new firmware update file (firmware 525).

http://download.msi.com.tw/support/dvr_exe/bt49.exe (17Mb download)

Thanx c0mm0n for the installation tips! Worked flawlessly, however I cannot make the Voice Gateway connection to stay up for more than 5 seconds. Anybody found a way around this?
Win XP + DBT-120 + T39m

The voice gateway will only stay up if the phone is busy with a call. If there is no activity on the phone it will automatically disconnect after around 5 seconds.

After ensuring that your Windows audio settings are correct (Audio Playback and Audio Recording devices in control panel set to Bluetooth audio), make a phone call and start up the voice gateway. It should stay connected for the duration of the call. After that, any time you make or receive a call the call will automatically be transferred to your PC's sound system unless you disable the service on your PC.

Is it at all possible to make this driver procedure work with a Socket BT CF card, or does Socket use a chipset that is not supported by other software makers? (I really hate the Socket software for Windows

Double checked that Bluetooth Audio is selected for both playback and recording. Tried to make a phonecall and then "Connect Audio Gateway" to my T39. It shows the same error "The remote device closed the connection" within a few seconds.

I used the BtserverSpylite.exe to get a log during the connect/disconnect phase when I tried to setup the Audio Gateway connection. It is available here. Please someone do the same so that we can compare.

I've installed the latest software (bt49 from MSI site) for my MSI USB Dongle, but it does not seam to have upgraded my firmware from v487 to 525.

Ther is an option of the Start Menu to upgrade firmware, but there is no .dfu file included in the bt49.exe file.

I've tried reinstallation, and I actually have 2 of these, so installed the software on 2 different PCs/Dongles.

Can anyone suggest what steps I need totake to get the firmware to update ? A link to the actual dfu file perhaps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bleh! I have the Belkin adaptor, working ok, albeit with some older drivers. I tried to follow common's guide, yet failed miserably. Anyone care to help me through it, specifically for the Belkin adaptor?!

I downloaded all the files (I think) that were needed. Ran the acbtusb.exe file, but it stopped - stating:

CRC failed in Data1.cab
Unexpected end of archive

pfff. I faffed about with other bits and bobs, but just got in more of a mess. I can of course re-install the old drivers, but I would like the new ones. Anyone able to help me out? Esp. those succesful with a Belkin!

I followed the steps in "PC as gsm headset" but the hbh accesoire doesn't come up on my T68i.

Could it be that the Acer dongle doesn't support audio?
