TBH, if
HBH-DS980 had FM radio and 3.5mm jack, it would be better than MW600, but I guess they should keep some combinations from happening so they can sell something better later down the road!

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question about the bluetooth connectivity to other devices that you have referred to on previous pages with the "PSP pictogram".
I had an e-mail from SE the other day in which they suggested that I used the HCB-108 Car Handsfree speaker by connecting it to the PS3. Does this mean that I would be able to do the same with the MW600, routing the sound from my PS3 to the ear phones, which of course I could change to anything with a 3.5mm jack and even using the Headset to talk in-game etc?
I know that this is a little OT, but if this functionality is present then I think I will be investing in an MW600 regardless of whether its bundled with the X10..BTW just checked Play.com offering this for £39.99, released 23/03/10. So as long s it is PS3 friendly, which I hope the A2DP bit means it is, then I am defo up for one of these....
Thanks,
Richard

I don't see PS3 being much different than a laptop and since I managed to source the sound from my laptop to my MW600 I don't see why you could not do the same with a PS3 as long as it supports BT (does it ?).

Arne, thanks for your reply. As I said I think it must be the A2DP bit that's the key and the official PS3 Headset
http://uk.playstation.com/ps3[....]l/item140802/Wireless-Headset/
Lists this feature, other than the large Mic Mute button, and talk of updates, I can see no real advantage over the MW600. In fat I'd say that PS3 version looks like the ugly older ones we used to be lumbered with years ago....

The nice thing when connected to a PC or Mac is that you can control the default media player with the WM600. One press at the Play button will start Windopws Media Player (PC) or iTunes (MAC). After that you can change tracks, start/stop the music and even rewind the songs back and forth. The track song played is also shown on the WM600 display.
I would guess it should work in similar way with PS3.
What can I say. It's simply a brilliant little device at a reasonable price.
